My friends have told me that I should stop asking other people for opinions regarding my wedding because it is MY WEDDING and what they think/like shouldn't affect my decisions; however, I am so inclined to do this! For my processional I used "God of our Fathers" with a trumpet playing the voluntaire - - - or whatever it's called.
Recessional - - - we used "Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us." And had the congregation sing it.
I used Great Is Thy Faithfulness for the song that the wedding party walked in to. I wanted to listen to it from the back of the church. :) Every time I hear that song it has extra special meaning for me. I think you made a great choice.
