A Bible That’s Falling Apart

Struck by the truth of this quote by Charles Spurgeon...

A Bible that’s falling apart
usually belongs to someone who isn’t.

...and thinking of my Grandmom, who is a timeless example of a God-fearing, Bible-reading, praying woman.

Love love love,
Jewel

oh how I love this post and that quote! There is just nothing quite like your Bible when it is worn and written in, and the pages automatically open to a portion of scripture you have read A LOT! LOVE!

No Traugott, I'm sorry. I just found this picture on the internet and I can't remember where. I hope you can re-locate it....

Blessings,

Thank you. I gave it to a man who was carrying a cross in Ballinger, Texas. It had become a source of pride for me. The man gave me his card, but I lost it. I have often wondered what happened to this bible, and then my wife was on Pinterest the other night and she recognized this bible. She showed me, and I was floored. God is glorifying Himself through His word in that bible again, and that is all that matters. in Christ Jesus, God bless!
